Welcome, to the Central Coast Film Society.
We are a recognized 501(c)(3) organization, formed on March 20, 2018. Our mission is simple:
To celebrate cinema and promote media arts and entertainment on California’s Central Coast.
We understand that the current climate of COVID-19 has put a hardship on our local industry professionals and students. We hope to remain a source of education and inspiration during this hard time, even though we have had to cancel most of our events we had planned.
Our aim is to inspire filmmakers, both new students and seasoned professionals. Diving deep into the craft with discussions, panels and screenings. This all culminates with the first annual Central Coast Film Festival coming as soon as it is safe to do so!
Not only do we want to foster local artists, we want to just plain have fun going to the movies! Enjoy our BLOG for movie reviews, news and spotlights on everything going on! Also keep up with Take 18, our podcast!
